For those of you reading my blog and don't have any
clue on this trending news story please click this link, read the article and
watch the short clip.
Who doesn't tip their pizza deliver man? If you are
one of those, shame on you. We live in a world where nothing is free not even
the delivery of your pizza. Money is what makes the world go, and even
categorizes us according to our wealth.
Jarrid Tansey is more than just a delivery driver
in my eyes. After being humiliated and harassed in an office full of arrogance
he stands up for himself in a very professional manner while getting the point
he needed across, not to mention drawing national news in a positive manner all
on his side.
It was hard to find a news post that didn't say the
same thing (conveying the story and sharing the video) but i did find this
>>

just a few paragraphs down that Palace Pizza called
Jarrid's boss and shared with him their thoughts. (Which of course was a bunch
of) But Jarrid's boss stood by his side saying that past encounters with them
have been the same. I thought this was awesome that his boss stood by his side,
did not apologize and said that he won't be working with them again. In my eyes
this happens only in rare occasions because the customer always comes first
(Even I have learned this while working in sales positions)

The Link above not only humbled him but also
humbled me. This article shows his true side and what a honest/nice person that
he is. Amanda Rogers created a GoFund me account in Jarrids name for those that
would like to give him the tip he should have got from the dealer ship. Here is
the link if you would like to donate to his fund. But please read the link
above to see how he has responded to this donation.

Wow are you not in awwwww…..
The article he states in
different words that he works two jobs and sticks to his routine. This helps
him stay grounded and to not loose focus. With all the news and press on this
story he has tried to stay humble and not let this change his life or him.
Lastly he states, "I just want to say I hold no grudges and I project no
negativity towards anybody including F & R. I believe in karma. I just want
to stay humble through all this because that's how a human should act day to
day. I'm glad that - a lot of times bad news travels fast. In this case it
seems like good news is traveling faster than the bad news." –Jarrid
Tansey
If
this does not show you what kind of person he really is then you have a problem
because most people would bash the company that offended them and try to take
them down with as much force as possible. This has given me a new outlook on
how to handle situations and how to look at the positive outcomes even if
others are hurting me. I have been in situations where I have not wanted to tip
my waiter/server. Cab driver, or someone that has done a service for me that I felt
didn’t meet my expectations. But who am I to say that my expectation is better
than theirs. Jarrid said that karma would get them for what they had done to
him. Do you believe this? I sure do, they have something in store for them to
teach them a valuable lesson.
I
just have to remember that feeling I get when I received a tip from a client
for a job well done or an extra thank you. It means the world to me. This story
is still going through the press and it will be interesting to watch and see
the final end result and if it becomes more popular than it already is.
Be
sure to check out the >>Go Fund link<< and donate even a dollar, lets be part of
an awesome cause that could have easily been solved with the 7 dollar tip that he deserved.
